ASDA and Sainsbury’s could be set to merge according to news reports today.
Wal-Mart, Asda’s parent company who are deemed the world’s biggest supermarket retailer, is said to be in advanced talks with J Sainsbury about a potential merger.
Sky News reports an announcement could be made as early as Monday.
