Aldi are set to offer all store colleagues the option to wear a face mask whilst working to further support their safety as they continue to work through the coronavirus pandemic.
The supermarket has confirmed that “Aldi will be providing the option of face masks to all its store-based colleagues to further support their safety as they continue to feed the nation.”
Aldi have already implemented several safety precations in stores, with 7,000 perspex screens being installed at checkouts, gloves made available to staff, and social distancing markers being placed throughout stores.
As critical workers, shop staff can also now access the Government’s Covid-19 testing programme.
