Aldi have today issued an urgent product recall for their mini-fryer due to fears they could give electric shocks.
Customers who have bought one of the appliances are being asked to stop using them immediately and return it to the store in exchange of a full refund.
In a post on the Facebook, Aldi said “As a precautionary measure we have initiated a recall of this product due to a potential electrical fault.
“Customers are asked to return the product to the nearest store, where a full refund will be given. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation.
