ALDI has become the second supermarket to offer its staff a 10 per cent bonus as a thank you for all of their hard work during the coronavirus epidemic.
A short statement from the retailer said: “Aldi has today announced enhanced pay for its amazing colleagues, who have been working tirelessly throughout this extremely busy time.”
The bonus is due to be backdated to March 9th and with Swindon workers who’ve been with the company for less than three years currently earning £9.40 an hour, this will be a major boost.
