Get ready to lace up your boots and embrace the thrill of adventure! The Youth Adventure Trust is calling on individuals, friends, families, and colleagues to join two exciting challenges this summer – the Wiltshire 3 Peaks on Saturday 8th June, and the Beacons Challenge on Saturday 6th July.

Wiltshire 3 Peaks: A Scenic Journey with a Purpose
On Saturday, June 8th, participants can choose to walk, jog, or run in the picturesque Wiltshire 3 Peaks Challenge. The event offers two distances – a 10k or half marathon, providing flexibility for varying fitness levels. Gather your loved ones, including four-legged friends, and explore the stunning Wiltshire countryside while making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable local young people.
The Wiltshire 3 Peaks route will see adventurers conquering the iconic Martinsell Hill, Milk Hill, and Tan Hill. With a mix of challenging climbs and breathtaking views, this adventure promises a memorable experience, all in support of Wiltshire’s youth.
Beacons Challenge: Team Up for a Day of Thrilling Hiking
For those seeking a more extended and team-oriented challenge, the Beacons Challenge on July 6th is the perfect choice. Teams of 2 to 6 people will navigate through the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The route covers either 17km or an impressive 34km, including the renowned Pen y Fan. It’s not just a hike; it’s a day of teamwork, camaraderie, and exploration.
Whether you’re looking for a unique team-building experience, a challenging day outdoors with friends, or an opportunity to raise funds for a meaningful cause, the Youth Adventure Trust has the right challenge for you.
Previous participants have praised the challenges for their organisation and impact. Dyane, a participant in the Beacons Challenge 2023, shared, “Even though the mountains looked daunting, the whole team made us feel like we could achieve it. I’ll be back next year!” Another participant from the Wiltshire 3 Peaks in 2023 described it as a “super challenge, very well organised, and for a really worthwhile cause.”
Registration for both challenges is now open, inviting individuals and groups to sign up, take on the challenge, and make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
The Youth Adventure Trust, a registered charity, has been using outdoor adventure for 30 years to inspire and transform the lives of vulnerable young people aged 11–16 from Swindon and Wiltshire. All funds raised from these challenges go towards supporting local schools and helping young people build resilience and face life’s challenges with confidence.
Join the adventure, embrace the challenge, and contribute to making a positive impact on young lives!
