Two more coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Swindon, both passing away yesterday 9th May.
The latest figures show 99 people have now lost their lives after contracting Covid-19 and being admitted to Great Western Hospital.
Hospitals in the South West of England recorded just 8 deaths in the past 24 hours compared to 44 in the North West.
The number of deaths of patients with Covid-19 by region are as follows:

The latest data showed 178 deaths recorded in England’s hospital in the last 24 hours after being diagnosed with the deadly virus, the lowest figure for a number of weeks.
Patients were aged between 32 and 98 years old.
12 of the 178 patients (aged between 58 and 95 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
As of 4pm yesterday, Swindon has now had 403 confirmed coronavirus cases but over 160 of these have been discharged.
