9-year-old to walk a marathon inspired by Captain Tom Moore

Nine-year-old Tobias Weller is determined to copy the fundraising exploits of national hero Captain Tom Moore, walking a marathon in his street during the current lockdown.

Tobias who has cerebral palsy and autism, walks 750 metres each morning, using his walker in his street in the hope of raising £20,000 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Paces School.

Cheered on by friends and neighbours who come out into the street, socially distancing of course, in the Beauchief area of Sheffield, Tobias has reached the half-way point in his challenge and is well on the way to reaching his target raising over £15,000 so far.

If you would like to support Tobias and make a donation you can do at Justgiving.
