A pensioner arrested after a burglar was stabbed to death in his home has been released from custody and will face no further action.
78-year-old Richard Osborn-Brooks’ was arrested for the murder of Henry Vincent, 38 who died after suffering a stab wound during the burglary on a home in Hither Green.
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: ‘The 78-year-old man was told on Friday, 6 April, that following consultation between the Met and Crown Prosecution Service, no action will be taken.
