With the UK having relaxed most of its entry rules for travellers in relation to Covid-19 last month, other countries around the world are now following suit.
If you are yet to be fully vaccinated for Covid, there are now 68 countries around the world you can travel to including Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, Portugal and also Spain, if you have recently recovered from Covid.
For those looking to travel from the UK to Spain for a holiday, you are required to show valid proof of meeting the vaccination requirements however a recent update states:
- If you are traveling from the UK to Spain for tourism purposes, are not fully vaccinated but have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months, you can also use a medical certificate or recovery record to prove your COVID-19 status on entry to Spain.
The list below outlines the countries currently letting in unvaccinated people for tourism purposes.
To travel to these countries you will require to test beforehand and some may even require you to quarantine upon arrival, also as seen in the past, rules can change at short notice and so the best thing to do before you travel is to visit the Foreign Office website for the latest entry requirements relating to the country you are travelling to.
