Boris Johnson this afternoon confirmed that more than half a million people in the UK have now received the first of two vaccination jabs against Covid-19.
The milestone comes just over two weeks after the first patient received the Pfizer vaccine in Coventry on 8th December.
Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, took to Twitter saying it was “such good news.”
