15-Year-Old Boy Remanded for Possession of a Firearm and Drugs

A 15-year-old boy has been remanded in a youth detention centre following a warrant in Freshbrook earlier this week.

The Serious Youth Gang Team swooped in on an address in Cottington Close on Monday. With the keen nose of Police Dog Bracken leading the way, police uncovered a firearm and a significant quantity of class-A drugs.

The young lad was promptly arrested on a barrage of charges, including two counts of being involved in the supply of class A substances, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition without proper certification.
