Wiltshire Air Ambulance is set to bring festive cheer this December with two special Christmas Carol Concerts, returning to Bath and Marlborough after successful events in previous years.
This year’s concerts follow sold-out performances in 2022 and 2023, as local communities flocked to show their support for the life-saving charity.
‘Carols in the Abbey’ will take place at the iconic Bath Abbey on Thursday 5th December, while ‘Carols in the Chapel’ will be held at the renowned Marlborough College on Thursday 12th December. Both concerts are expected to draw large crowds, with tickets now available for general sale, starting at just £15 (plus booking fees).
Kat Bowhay, the event planner for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, expressed her excitement about the return of these festive celebrations. “We are absolutely delighted to return to Bath and Marlborough for our carol concerts. After the success over the past two years, where the carol concerts sold out in record time, we are holding two events rather than one for 2024. We would urge our supporters to secure their seat as soon as possible to guarantee their place at these festive concerts,” she said.
The concerts promise an evening filled with beautiful performances from local choirs, readings by Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s celebrity ambassadors, and even appearances by the aircrew themselves. Attendees will also have the chance to sing along to some classic carols, making for a heart-warming night of community spirit.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been providing critical medical care by both air and land since 1990, covering Wiltshire and Bath. As a registered charity, it relies entirely on donations and support from the public to continue its vital work.
