Prime Theatre is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for young artists aged between 10 and 13 years old, as well as those aged 11 to 16 years old, to participate in free August activities at the Town Gardens Bowl.
From Monday 14th to Friday 18th of August, and again from Sunday 20th to Friday 25th of August, Prime Theatre has organised a series of engaging workshops led by professional artists.
Activities for 10 – 13-year-olds: Young participants will have the chance to explore various forms of creative expression, including music, rap, creative writing, drama, and visual arts. Whether they are beginners or experienced artists, these workshops cater to all levels of talent. The aim is to encourage young minds to unleash their imagination and develop their artistic skills. As an added incentive, every participant will have the opportunity to earn an Arts Award Explore, recognising their achievements in the arts.
In addition, Prime Theatre will provide a complimentary breakfast and lunch each day, ensuring that the young artists have the energy to fully immerse themselves in the creative process.
Activities for 11 – 16-year-olds: For the older age group, from 11 to 16 years old, Prime Theatre has prepared an extraordinary opportunity. Participants will have the chance to create a unique version of Grimm’s Tales to be performed on the illustrious stage of the Town Gardens Bowl.
The project is open to all levels of experience, and Prime Theatre invites everyone with a passion for storytelling and performance to join in. The young artists will collaborate with one another and be guided by expert mentors to craft a mesmerising performance that will captivate the audience.
Similar to the activities for the younger age group, complimentary breakfast, and lunch will be provided daily, ensuring that the participants can focus on honing their performance skills.
To secure a spot in these exciting workshops and performances, interested individuals are encouraged to contact Sarah at sarah@primetheatre.co.uk or call 01793 614864. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity!
