Wiltshire’s live music scene is set for a larger stage in 2026, as the Wiltshire Music Awards enters a new chapter under fresh leadership and with noticeably bigger ambitions.
Event production company Stone Circle Music Events has been confirmed as both official sponsor and organiser of the 2026 awards, signalling what organisers describe as a significant step forward for the county’s flagship grassroots celebration. The company, which operates from the South West of England and is backed by its Galway office in Ireland, has steadily built a reputation for delivering polished, large-scale events without losing sight of community roots.
Joining the venture is The Kingston Group, bringing additional industry experience and local knowledge to the table. Together, the partnership intends to build on the foundations laid in 2025 and raise the profile of the awards across the county.
For 2026, the ceremony promises a marked production upgrade. Plans include enhanced audio-visual staging, large-format screens, professional camera coverage, an experienced compère and a headline star appearance. A county-wide marketing campaign is also in development, aimed at ensuring the awards resonate beyond the usual music circles and reach communities across Wiltshire.
In keeping with its commitment to rotating host locations, the 2026 ceremony will take place at White Horse View Events Centre, set beneath the iconic Westbury White Horse. The venue will accommodate up to 400 guests seated at tables, offering a more expansive setting than in previous years.
Nominations will open on 1 May and close on 1 June 2026, with the awards evening scheduled for Saturday 26 September 2026.
Volunteers Wanted
Organisers are also calling for volunteers to help deliver what they hope will be the county’s biggest celebration of live and grassroots music to date.
Anyone with experience in event planning, production or hospitality is encouraged to come forward, though organisers are equally keen to hear from those simply passionate about supporting local artists and venues.
Those interested can make contact via hello@wiltshiremusicevents.uk.
Perform on the Night
Artists from across Wiltshire are being invited to express interest in performing during the awards evening itself. The event offers a rare opportunity to showcase original music in front of a dedicated live audience drawn from across the county’s creative community.
Musicians who perform anywhere within Wiltshire and would like to be considered can email patrick@stonecirclemusicevents.uk.
With a new production team in place and a clear intention to broaden its reach, the Wiltshire Music Awards 2026 appears set not only to celebrate the county’s talent, but to give it a bigger platform than ever before.
