Since its debut in 1952 at the Theatre Royal Nottingham, The Mousetrap has captivated audiences with its genre-defining murder mystery penned by Agatha Christie, the world’s best-selling novelist of all time. Now, 70 years on, the iconic thriller continues to enthrall theatregoers as it embarks on a nationwide tour across the UK and Ireland.

From January 30, 2024, the cast of this legendary murder-mystery on tour will feature familiar faces, including Todd Carty (renowned for his roles in EastEnders, Grange Hill, and Dancing on Ice) as Major Metcalf and Gwyneth Strong (known for portraying Cassandra in Only Fools and Horses) as Mrs. Boyle. As the tour continues its journey, The Mousetrap pays homage to its roots, visiting over 70 theatres, including all cities it originally graced 70 years ago, and many more. The anniversary celebration brings with it the timeless tale of intrigue and suspicion as a group of strangers find themselves trapped in Monkswell Manor amidst a snowstorm, only to realize that a murderer lurks among them. With each character harbouring dark secrets, the tension rises as they race to uncover the identity of the killer before it’s too late.
