As is tradition at The Swindon Film Society, as the year heads to its conclusion they usually show a ‘feel good’ film, and this year they selected a real gem.
Sanctuary is a sweet, smart and funny story about the efforts of a young man and woman with intellectual disabilities to be together. A heart-warming romcom that features performances of great gentleness and honesty from its terrific young leads.
Sanctuary ((Ireland | 2016 | 1h 28mins | Cert 15) will be shown on Wednesday 12 December, 7.45pm at the Swindon Arts Centre.
Swindon Film Society offer a wide selection of films throughout the year that cover world cinema, underground classics, independent releases and films that are generally not going to play the bigger commercial screens in town. If that is something that you are interested in then why not head along this screening and find out how you can be the first to hear about the schedule they have lined up for next year.
