Rock for Heroes returns to the Wyvern Theatre stage bringing the perfect combination of your favourite Rock & Pop artist across the eras with fundraising in support of Help for Heroes.
With music from artists such as Queen, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Status Quo, Bryan Adams, Elton John, AC/DC, Whitesnake & so many more.
Performed by a full live rock band and superb singers, complete with brilliant personalities and comedy value this really is a night out unlike any other.
You won’t see a bad wig here, this isn’t a tribute act this is simply paying tribute, the best way we can, to the legends in music.
Rock for Heroes collects donations after every show and they have a plan to raise £2.5 million for Help for Heroes. So far they have raised over £20,000 since they began touring only two years ago.
Rock for Heroes director and lead performer in the show, Phil Hawkins said “There is nobility, an honour and a dignity to any man or woman prepared to lay themselves down so that I and everyone else may go about our daily lives.
“These people are heroes, true heroes, and they fight not because they hate what they face, but because they love what they have left behind. Rock for Heroes will continue for as long as we can to make sure that these men and women are not forgotten!
“Each performer in Rock for Heroes, has someone who has served or is serving in some capacity and it means so much to be able raise the much needed funds to support these incredible people.”
