Following the resounding success of his sold-out show at Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre in late January, Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert is set to grace the venue once again, adding a second date at the end of March.
Describing the Swindon audience and the Wyvern Theatre’s auditorium as “one of the best in the country, if not the best,” Gilbert is eager to return to the vibrant town for another night of laughter.
In his last show, ‘The Book of John,’ Rhod Gilbert navigated the complexities of life’s metaphorical lemons, accompanied by the presence of an unwitting protagonist named John. Little did he anticipate that life’s twists would continue to unfold in unexpected ways.
Far from being bitter, Gilbert has embraced the challenges with his trademark humour, promising an evening that is hilariously dark, passionately personal, and thoroughly entertaining.
Born in Carmarthen, Wales, Rhod Gilbert entered the comedy scene professionally in 2002 after participating in the Amused Moose Stand and Deliver course. Since then, he has become a celebrated figure in the world of comedy, known for his witty observations, sharp delivery, and engaging stage presence.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience Rhod Gilbert’s unique blend of humor and storytelling. Get ready for an evening filled with laughter, anecdotes, and the comedic brilliance that has made Rhod Gilbert a household name in the comedy circuit.
