An evening of laughter, live music and medieval mayhem awaits as The Three Inch Fools return to Avebury Manor Garden with their brand-new outdoor production, King Arthur and the Holy Fail.
The touring theatre company will perform the fast-paced comedy on Friday, 21 August and Saturday, 22 August, transforming the historic gardens into the backdrop for a fresh take on one of Britain’s best-known legends.
Described as a lively, music-filled adventure, the story begins when an unlikely tragedy throws Camelot into chaos, leaving Arthur facing the greatest challenge of his life.
Can the reluctant hero save his kingdom, or will fate have other ideas? Audiences can expect plenty of laughs, memorable characters and the company’s trademark blend of comedy, storytelling and live music.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic, blankets or folding chairs and settle in for an evening beneath the open sky.
The gates open at 5.30pm, with the performance beginning at 6.30pm. The show lasts approximately 100 minutes and includes a 20-minute interval.
As with all Three Inch Fools productions, the performance will go ahead whatever the weather, so theatre-goers are advised to dress appropriately for the conditions.
