Alan Fletcher, renowned for his role as Dr. Karl Kennedy on the popular TV show Neighbours, is set to return to the UK this June for a 24-date tour of his show; The Doctor Will See You Now.
The tour will include a visit to Wyvern Theatre on Tuesday 6th June, providing a chance for fans of the iconic show to get up close and personal with one of its biggest stars.
Produced by Maple Tree Entertainment, this 24-date tour is a follow-up to the sold-out UK celebration tour, and also to Fletcher’s 2022 warm-up tour held in September.
The Doctor Will See You Now is an interview-style show that utilizes video footage and music from Neighbours to look back on memorable moments from the show where Fletcher portrayed Dr. Karl Kennedy and Greg Cooper. The actor will be interviewed on stage by his real-life wife, presenter and journalist Jennifer Hansen.
Fletcher said, “I have appeared in hundreds of theatrical performances in my 43 years as an actor, but this is the first time I will lay myself bare for an audience. I want to give fans a frank and truthful insight into my life on Neighbours in an entertaining and fun way.”
The show is expected to be a night of fun, entertainment, and heartwarming moments, complete with details about the history of one of the biggest stars in soap and its future.
The performance will also feature a Q&A segment, where the audience will have the chance to ask Fletcher the questions they have always wanted to know the answers to.
There will also be a limited number of meet and greet tickets available at each venue, allowing fans to meet the star in person.
