Chocolate Theatre is excited to announce open auditions for the hit musical, The Full Monty.
The auditions will take place at Wroughton Club on Wednesday, 10th January, starting at 7:00 PM with the production set to grace the stage at Swindon’s Arts Centre from 11th to 13th July 2024.
For those unfamiliar with the plot, The Full Monty tells the story of six former steelworkers grappling with frustration due to unemployment, lack of money, and limited prospects.
Inspired by the popularity of male strippers among the women in their lives, these men decide to venture into the world of exotic dancing to make some quick cash. Despite their ‘real man’ bodies, the group finds strength in camaraderie as they navigate through anxieties and self-consciousness in preparation for their one-night extravaganza.
To kick off the audition process, there will be a Launch Night at the Wroughton Club on 3rd January, welcoming everyone interested in being part of this exciting production.
