Budding writers and cartoonists will be excited to hear of the launch of a new writing magazine for Swindon residents, which will aim to showcase the very best offerings from the talented wordsmiths of Swindon town. We are looking for all types of writing including short stories, poems, opinion pieces or extracts from plays. Quizzes, puzzles and cartoons are also welcome! Each entry will need to be 1000 words or under. If you wish to submit a cartoon it will need to be two pages or less.
This is a one off magazine that will be launched at the 2021 Swindon Spring Festival. The closing date for entries is 30th June 2020. To submit a piece, please email it as an attachment to swindonwritingproject@outlook.com. All written entries must be submitted as Microsoft Word Documents. All picture / cartoon entries must be submitted as PDF documents.
