Wiltshire Police have informed us that enquiries are currently ongoing following reports of an attempted burglary in Swindon.
They received a call reporting two males seen acting suspiciously with torches near garages in Buller Street at approximately 11.30pm on 7 August.
Officers attended the scene and carried out a search of the area.
Two males were located by a police dog handler on the roof of a property nearby.
A 16-year-old boy from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary with intent to steal, abstracting electricity without authority and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
A 15-year-old boy, also from Swindon, was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary with intent to steal, possession with intent to supply a class A drug and two counts of theft.
Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
