Swindon Town’s promising youngster Pharrell Johnson has joined National League South side Truro City on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season. This move, subject to EFL approval, offers the 20-year-old a valuable chance to gain regular match experience in men’s first-team football.
Johnson, who signed with Swindon Town in January this year, quickly made his mark by debuting in a 2-0 victory over Bradford. Since then, he has worked hard to regain full fitness, impressing during the pre-season with consistent performances.
Truro City, currently sitting in 4th place in the National League South, will be hoping Johnson’s addition bolsters their campaign. His first test will come this Saturday in a home fixture against Chelmsford City at the Truro Sports Hub.
Swindon Town expressed their support for the young player, stating, “We’d like to take this opportunity to wish Pharrell all the best during his spell with Truro, and we look forward to monitoring his progress during his time with the club.”
