Swindon Town have moved quickly in the January transfer window, snapping up Brentford’s Dominic Thompson on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old defender began his youth career with Arsenal before signing for the Bees. He has made nine appearances for the Championship outfit this term, with five of those outings coming in the Carabao Cup.
Speaking to the official club website he said “This is an opportunity for me to play football and gain valuable experience and I want to help the club in the situation we are in at the moment,”
“It’s a good challenge for me, stepping out to gain experience. It’s not like the start of the season, I’m ready and if I’m needed I’m happy to step in.”
