Swindon Town’s search for a new manager seems to have stalled a little this last week with no news coming out of SN1 since Lee Power’s BBC interview.
This new week however has thrust not just one but two new names into the race, Teddy Sheringham and Paul Tisdale.
Sheringham has come from nowhere and is now sitting as second favourite with SkyBet at 4/1 to take over the reigns at the County Ground siting just behind Steve Evans despite Mansfield refusing Swindon permission to speak to their manager.
After the doom and gloom of losing a Wembey final Tisdale, the longest-serving manager in the Football League, has jumped up the list and is now sitting at 12/1 and after 11 years who knows could be looking at a new challenge.

Other names of interest on the list, John Terry at 25/1 who could potentially come in as a player manager and Paolo Di Canio at 33/1 still in the betting.
Whoever comes in this saga needs to come to a close soon to allow the new manager time to settle in before the new season preparations get underway.
