Fixture release day is often much anticipated across the football pyramid as teams kick on with their summer preparations, confirming how the campaign will look and when key fixtures will be. Swindon fans always have a keen eye on where they may head for Boxing Day and around the festive period, while a close eye will be kept on meetings with the likes of Notts County and Stockport County.

Town endured a challenging 2023/24 season, finishing in their worst-ever league position. The disappointing campaign left fans disheartened, as the team struggled to find form and consistency, ultimately falling short of expectations. Despite these setbacks, there is renewed hope on the horizon, as owner Clem Morfuni has pledged to provide a larger budget for the forthcoming season. This financial boost is aimed at strengthening the squad and ensuring that the club can compete at the highest level in League Two.

Morfuni’s commitment to increased investment reflects his ambition for Swindon Town to achieve promotion. The owner has set a clear target for the club to bounce back and climb the league table. With a larger budget and the appointment of new manager Mark Kennedy, there is a sense of optimism among some supporters with many others still needing convincing.

The forthcoming season is seen as a pivotal moment for Swindon Town, with the goal of building a competitive team capable of securing promotion and restoring pride to the club and its loyal fanbase.
