Speedway boss instils a “no fear” attitude ahead of King’s Lynn fixture

Swindon boss Alun Rossiter insists they will head to King’s Lynn with “no fear” tonight (7.30).

The Carpets4Less Robins suffered a narrow home defeat against the Stars at the Abbey earlier this month but will now aim to bounce back.

Rossiter’s side have since claimed hard-fought consolation points at Belle Vue and Wolverhampton – and he says they are determined to go one better at the Adrian Flux Arena.

“We shouldn’t fear going to King’s Lynn,” Rossiter said. “I know they beat us at home but we’ve been stronger away from home so far this season to be fair.

“It’s a good track and a fair track, it’s a bit like Swindon in that nobody has any real reservations about going there.

“We’ve had two good away performances at Belle Vue and Wolverhampton, so we’ll be going to King’s Lynn looking for another result.”

The Robins will be without reserve Dany Gappmaier due to a back injury suffered riding for Berwick, with James Sarjeant stepping in as a guest.

They will otherwise be at full strength, whilst Simon Lambert comes into the King’s Lynn side after replacing youngster Josh Bailey.
