Team boss Alun Rossiter has no qualms with making enforced changes to Swindon’s riding order with the eyes of the world watching against King’s Lynn on Monday (7.30).
The BT Sport cameras roll into town to catch the action with a bumper crowd expected after club bosses reduced adult admission to a bargain £5 and opened the gates to under 16s for free.
But Robins, on a whopping run of 12 straight SGB Premiership victories, will have a slightly different look as they hit the track against the Stars, themselves pursuing that final place in the top four.
New averages have promoted Adam Ellis back to the main body of the team and he moves to number two to partner talisman Jason Doyle. Bradley Wilson-Dean replaces Ellis at reserve with in-form Tobiasz Musielak shifting to number three.
Rossiter reckons Ellis has benefited from his spell at number six and predicts similar joy for Wilson-Dean as the table-toppers seek to continue their mid-season renaissance.
“We have always had faith in Adam, we know what he is capable of so I have no problem with him returning to the top five at all,” said Rossiter.
“Being at reserve has really helped him. He will be fine, he had a good meeting at Somerset and has been performing well for us.
“Bradley has a new engine coming. He has been struggling with motors recently but we need him to get going so with a bit of luck, he will start picking up.”
James Sarjeant again replaces the injured Zach Wajtknecht at reserve, while Tero Aarnio fills in at number seven for the Stars.
SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Adam Ellis, Tobiasz Musielak, David Bellego, Nick Morris, Bradley Wilson-Dean, James Sarjeant.
KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Thomas Jorgensen, Michael Palm Toft, Kai Huckenbeck, Tomas H Jonasson, Josh Auty, Tero Aarnio.
