Robins boss Alun Rossiter has issued a rallying cry to his team ahead of tonight’s trip to Rye House.
Rossiter admits losing Adam Ellis after just two race meetings due to a broken scaphoid is a big blow to the whole team and he is looking into what options he has.
The Robins will operate the ‘rider-replacement’ facility tonight in the Knock-out cup against the Premiership newcomers in the first round tie which will see the second leg take place at the Abbey Stadium this Thursday.
“Rye House have a very strong side, fair play to them, but we’ll go there and give it our very best! said Rossiter.
“It’s a blow to lose Adam but we have no choice but go there and use the rider replacement which means Nick Morris and anyone below him in the averages can cover”
“We need to give a good account of ourselves before coming back to the Abbey on Thursday. All I ask is the boys give it there all, which I’m sure they will.”
