On Wednesday evening Swindon Speedway will be taking a new approach to revealing their Team Title Sponsors for the upcoming 2017 season.
Robins sponsors, both current and new, have all been given the opportunity to enter a draw to become the teams official Team Title Sponsor in what can be described as a once in a lifetime opportunity to back the team.
Commercial Manager Lee Kilby has championed the draw from the minute the Management team voiced the idea: “It is obviously a very different route for the club to take, but an exciting and different one. When we sat down and looked at the sponsors we currently had backing the club, along with the new sponsors we had obtained, it was clear that they all had very similar package costs, if not bespoke to fit their needs and requirements.
“The draw is an opportunity to elevate a business to team title sponsor status, when normally they wouldn’t have that chance. The draw does consist of some businesses that have been our team title sponsors before, along with new companies coming onboard for the 2017 season and other long standing sponsors who have been happy to support and back the club without the burning desire or raised financial package to be the headline sponsor”
The draw will be conducted on Wednesday evening at 6pm and supporters and sponsors have the opportunity to login to the Official Swindon Speedway Facebook page and watch the draw streamed via Facebook live.
