Brian, who has a long-standing involvement with speedway, was the Commercial Director of two F1 Teams: Benetton F1 and Lola Ferrari F1. He is also the Founder and Honorary Life Member of the prestigious UK Motorsport Industry Association.

To complement this appointment, Swindon Speedway are pleased to announce that Lee Kilby, son of Swindon legend Bob Kilby, will be joining us to work alongside Brian Sims and club CEO Mike Bowden, to market the innovative new range of commercial opportunities, including sponsorship and related activities.

Lee has an impressive background in sales and marketing and we are sure that he will become a familiar face within the Swindon business community.

Chairman Terry Russell and CEO Mike Bowden both feel confident that the new appointments will quickly make a positive impact on the Club.

They said: “Swindon Speedway has been part of the fabric of the town since 1949 and the club looks forward to creating awareness of our range of new and innovative opportunities for the Swindon business community to gain commercial advantage through engagement with the club.”
