David Flitcroft has moved quickly to make his second signing snapping up midfielder James Dunne following his exit from Cambridge United.
The 27-year-old midfielder was released by United at the end of last season with Cambridge News reporting some fans unhappy the player was not given a new deal at the Cambs Glass Stadium.
Speaking to the clubs official website he said: “I’m delighted to have signed. I spoke to the gaffer last week and what he plans to do with the club is what attracted me here, so I’m glad to get it over the line.
“Having played against the gaffer’s teams quite a bit and knowing how he wants to get out of this league was the main attraction for me.
“I’ve played at the County Ground quite a few times, I’ve played when it’s been rocking so I’m looking forward to playing here.
“Hopefully we can win the games, get the crowd behind us and get promotion.”
