Tomorrow’s game between Swindon Town and Oxford U it’s has finally been called off after a long afternoon of its on, its off!
The official club site says ‘The decision has been taken following a request from Swindon Town following the identification of a number of positive COVID-19 cases at the Club and due to concerns raised over the potential risk of further infections.’
We understand two unnamed players and back room staff including the team doctor have tested positive for Covid-19 which has led the club to making the request.
The circumstances surrounding the postponement will be the subject of an investigation in accordance with EFL Regulations.
