Another Class A drug dealer operating in Swindon has been jailed following an investigation by local police.
Jennon Killick, 21, was sentenced to more than three years in prison after admitting his role in running a Class A county drugs line within the town.
Wiltshire Police said officers from the Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team established that Killick had been operating the ‘Pablo’ drugs line between April and November last year.
A warrant was executed on November 20 at Killick’s address in Oldlands Walk, Park South, where he was arrested. During the operation, officers seized two mobile phones linked to drug supply. One was recovered from outside his bedroom window after Killick attempted to discard it, while the other was found in the bathroom where items had been flushed down the toilet.
A search of Killick’s bedroom uncovered a range of drug supply items, including scales with cocaine residue, cling film, bags, used gloves and a large wrap of cocaine.
Killick was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and was remanded into custody. He later pleaded guilty.
At a hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, January 23, Killick was sentenced to three years and four months in prison.
PC Young, from the Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team, said the sentence reflected the serious harm caused by drug dealing.
“Drug dealers like Killick have a devastating impact on users and the wider community, causing significant harm for their own financial gain,” he said.
“We are committed to acting on intelligence about drug supply to protect and safeguard people in Swindon.
“Illegal drugs have no place in our town, and I would urge anyone with information about drug dealing to report it to police or anonymously through Crimestoppers.”
