Travellers looking to combine cultural touring with time to relax by the beach could find the perfect fit in a brand-new collection launched by Wendy Wu Tours.
The UK tour operator has unveiled its new Tour and Beach Collection following growing demand from customers wanting to extend their holidays beyond traditional escorted touring itineraries.
According to Wendy Wu Tours, there has been a 25 per cent year-on-year rise in travellers adding short-stay extensions onto their trips, while around one in three customers are now choosing to lengthen their holidays with additional beach stays.

Another standout option is the 14-day Classic Sri Lanka and Maldives Beach itinerary, which blends Sri Lanka’s famous cultural sites, including Sigiriya Rock Fortress and scenic tea country rail journeys, with an all-inclusive Maldives stay at the four-star Sun Siyam Olhuveli resort. Prices begin from £4,990 per person.
India Explored and Goa Beach offers a fresh take on the famous Golden Triangle route, mixing iconic sights with local experiences before finishing with a more relaxed stay in Goa. The 14-day trip starts from £3,190 per person.
Meanwhile, travellers wanting a more in-depth Asian adventure can opt for the 21-day Japan Uncovered and Okinawa Beach itinerary. The tour takes in Kyoto, Hiroshima and Mount Fuji before ending in Okinawa with a stay at the four-star Hotel Nikko Alivila. Prices start from £10,090 per person.
