Voice stars Billy & Louie step into spotlight as Pride patrons

There’s something fitting about a pair known for their harmony stepping into a role built on unity.

Billy & Louie, the twin vocal duo who found national attention on The Voice, have been named as the newest patrons of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride—a move that feels less like a debut and more like a natural next step.

For anyone who’s been to Pride in Swindon over the past few years, they’re already familiar faces.

The duo have become regulars on the main stage, most recently performing at the 2025 event, where their set drew one of the day’s liveliest crowds. Beyond the town, they’ve taken that same energy to Pride celebrations in Oxford, Southampton and Gloucester, building a reputation not just for tight harmonies but for a message that lands.

Now, they’re formalising that relationship.

“We are incredibly honoured to become patrons of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride,” they said. “This event has been a huge part of our journey… the love we’ve received from our hometown community means the world to us.”

It’s that sense of local connection that organisers are keen to hold onto as the event continues to grow.

Chair Paul Stewart described the pair as “fantastic ambassadors”, pointing not only to their performances but to the way they champion inclusion and authenticity both on and off stage.

“They have inspired so many people… through their message of unity,” he said.

They join fellow patron Bobbi Pickard, as the charity looks ahead to its 2026 event with renewed momentum.

This year’s celebration is set for Saturday 15 August at GWR Park, with the usual mix of Pride march, live music, community stalls and family-friendly activities—all free to attend.

Behind the scenes, organisers are already calling on the community to get involved, whether that’s through volunteering, joining the committee, or taking a spot in the ever-growing marketplace.

Because while the headline acts may draw the crowds, Pride in Swindon has always been about something broader—a community effort, built year by year.

And with Billy & Louie now officially part of that story, expect the volume—and the sense of occasion—to be turned up a notch this summer.
