Motorists are being warned to take extra care driving this morning due to dense fog which is reducing visibility in some areas to a maximum of 100m.
It comes after a woman in her fifties died in a 20 car pile-up in Oxfordshire yesterday.
Freezing temperatures and icy road conditions will also provide difficult driving conditions today.
