Halestorm, the ferocious rock band that has garnered four nominations for the HMAs 2023, including Best International Live Artist and Best Album, will treat the audience to an intimate ‘unplugged’ show at the awards. Lzzy and Joe from Halestorm will be joined by the incomparable Sophie Lloyd, guitarist of Machine Gun Kelly.
The lineup also includes the highly influential Florida metalcore group Underoath, the dramatic gothic punks Creeper, Blackpool’s alt-rockers Boston Manor, and the incendiary rock outfit Vukovi, who hold the record with five nominations this year. Adding to the excitement, pink provocateur Scene Queen will join Vukovi in an exclusive one-off collaboration. Loathe has also been recently added to the bill, ensuring an unforgettable night of heavy music performances.
Alongside the impressive lineup of performers, the Heavy Music Awards will feature captivating hosts from the world of heavy music. Kerrang! Radio’s Alex Baker, a breakthrough music mogul and renowned broadcaster, will once again take on the role of the evening’s host.
Baker has been a mainstay of the Heavy Music Awards, having presented numerous unforgettable shows throughout the awards’ history. Joining Baker on the presenting team will be Alyx Holcombe, the presenter of BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock, and Nels Hylton, the presenter of BBC Radio 1 Future Alternative. Holcombe and Hylton will be capturing the electrifying spirit of the evening’s celebrations on the Red Carpet.
