With a yellow weather warning issued for Swindon and the surrounding areas being affected by either amber or red warnings there is going to be disruption on the roads, rails and in the air.

Swindon Buses (Thamesdown to you and me) are reporting a number of route disruptions this morning including the number 19 being unable to serve Ridgeway Farm or Eastleaze, the 1, 1A, 13A and 14A all being unable to stop around the back of the Great Western Hospital.

Stagecoach are reporting many delays to services today but so far only one route cancellation, Service 51. Keep an eye out for updates here.

If you were aiming to travel by train today chances are you are already expecting delays with the upgrade work already affecting services in and out of Swindon this weekend.
Due to the current road conditions GWR have announced that replacement road transport between Swindon and Reading, Didcot, Gloucester and Bath will no longer be running.
Heathrow Airport have announced over 100 flight cancellations this morning with the knock-on effect expected to disrupt travel for the next few days. Make sure you check with your airline before heading to the airport.
