Three teenagers have been released on bail following a disorder in the Freshbrook area of Swindon which resulted in a man being taken to hospital with an injury to his arm.
Wiltshire Police were called to Freshbrook Village Centre at around 9.20pm on Sunday evening, 28 December, after reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to find that those involved had already left the scene.
A man in his 20s was later located with a laceration to his arm and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Following enquiries, two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of affray. All three have since been released on bail while police continue their investigation.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have information that could assist enquiries, to come forward.
