Three teenagers have been arrested following a robbery in Redhouse, Swindon, yesterday evening (4th January).
At around 5.50pm, emergency services were called to Eastbury Way after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed and had his e-bike stolen. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Officers acted quickly, detaining three 15-year-old boys shortly after the incident. The stolen bike was recovered, and the teenagers were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have since been bailed while investigations continue.
A police cordon was put in place but has now been lifted.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker said: “This was a serious incident in which a teenager suffered knife wounds and had his bike stolen. Thanks to swift action, three individuals were detained, and the bike was recovered.
“We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact us.”
