Three men have been arrested following a police pursuit in Swindon on Wednesday afternoon (14 January).
Wiltshire Police said officers spotted a vehicle linked to a suspect involved in a disorder earlier in the day at around 4pm in the Park South area of the town.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it failed to stop and drove away, leading to a short pursuit. The vehicle was eventually brought to a halt using tactical contact.
All three occupants fled the vehicle but were quickly detained by officers. During a search of the car, police discovered several knives and a quantity of drugs.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, failing to stop for police, dangerous driving and drug driving.
Two other men, aged 34 and 29, were also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, failing to stop and dangerous driving. Police said it was unclear at the time of arrest who had been driving the vehicle.
All three men have been taken into custody for questioning.
