People who have clothes they no longer wear can swap them for something new as the Wyvern Theatre Swap Shop returns to the venues Spotlight Room this February.
Swindonians are encouraged to bring along around 10 clean items that are in good condition which can then be swapped for other clothes. The swap is designed to help people freshen up their wardrobe without buying new.
The Swap Shop event costs £5 per person with all money raised going towards the Wyvern’s Memory Cafe.
The Memory Cafe is a free service where those living with Dementia and their carers, friends and families can meet, talk, and join in with a variety of activities once a month.
It also provides an opportunity to speak to support workers, medical practitioners and advisors for information and help.
Refreshments will be available at the bar throughout the event but attendees are reminded that the bar will only accept card payments.
