Swindon & Wiltshire Pride unveils exciting changes for 2024: New Location and Nationwide Building Society Returns as Headline Sponsors!
Fresh off their victory as ‘Community Group of the Year’ at the recent Wiltshire Life Awards, the charity is gearing up to spread love and diversity once more across the town’s streets this summer.

After two triumphant years at Queens Park, Swindon & Wiltshire Pride have today announced they will relocate to the iconic GWR Park for the August event. This move, according to organisers, ‘will provide the perfect canvas for a Pride experience like no other.’
Paul Stewart, chairperson of the charity, said “This is a hugely exciting moment for us and our supporters as we expand to a bigger location right in the heart of the community. GWR Park has a proud railway heritage, and today marks the start of the next leg of our journey in celebrating the diversity of our proud county.”
As anticipation mounts for the festivities, Paul Stewart revealed, “The committee are hard at work putting together plans for this year, and even though details are still to be confirmed, the extra space means we have more freedom to create an unforgettable celebration full of memories that will last a lifetime.”
Adding to the excitement, Nationwide Building Society has committed once again as the headline sponsor. With Swindon as its home base, Nationwide has participated in many Pride events over recent years and has long been a supporter of community events within the town.

Lou Flaviani, People Director at Nationwide and Sponsor of the Pride Network expressed delight at the partnership, remarking, “We’re so pleased to be headline sponsors of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride again this year with Swindon being home for Nationwide. At Nationwide we know the importance of inclusion and diversity and we very much look forward to celebrating with the LGBTQIA+ community in August.”
In addition to Nationwide’s generous support, WHSmith returns as the Family Circus Zone sponsor, while Arval ensures Pride remains accessible to all.
Tickets, which once again will be free, are set to be released on May 1st via the Swindon & Wiltshire Pride website.
