Swindon Travel Hub has been recognised on a national stage after being shortlisted in the Best Retail Agent category at the Wave Awards 2025.
The Wave Awards, often regarded as the cruise industry’s own Oscars, are organised by Real Response Media – publishers of World of Cruising and Cruise Trade News. The ceremony will take place at The Dorchester on London’s Park Lane on Wednesday 26th November, with the glittering event set to welcome some of the biggest names in global travel.

Virgin Voyages will headline this year’s awards, joined by leading names including Princess Cruises, Cunard, Fred. Olsen Cruise Line, Marella Cruises, Riviera Travel and Iconic Hotel Group.
The judging panel – made up of 40 respected figures from across the travel industry – gathered at The Independent HQ in London to decide this year’s shortlist.
For Swindon Travel Hub, the nomination is a milestone moment. Having opened the doors to its store in Swindon’s Old Town just twelve months ago, the business has quickly gained a reputation for delivering exceptional service and securing outstanding cruise deals for its customers.
Speaking on behalf of the company, joint owner Shaun Jones said: “To be shortlisted alongside some of the most established travel brands in the country after only a year of trading is a huge honour. It’s a testament not only to our hardworking team but also to our incredible customers who trust us time and again with their holiday plans.”
Co-owner Ashley Hunt added: “We started with a clear vision to bring something special to our local community and to be recognised at such a prestigious event so soon is humbling. This shortlisting is as much theirs as it is ours.”
The Wave Awards 2025 promises to be a night to remember, with 33 winners announced across a range of categories celebrating innovation, service, and excellence in the cruise sector. For Swindon Travel Hub, being part of this year’s shortlist is already a victory – showing what a passionate local team can achieve when supported by a loyal customer base.
