Over the past couple of weeks it has been widely rumoured that Clem Morfuni could be set to welcome an external investor into the club.
It would appear that the investor could be an ex-Swindon Town player.
Welsh Under 21, Michael Doughty, scored 23 times for the club over three spells is the son of the late Nottingham Forest owner Nigel Doughty.
Leaving the club for personal reasons back in 2020 founded ethical sportswear brand Hylo Athletics.
Having been spotted at The County Ground a number of times over the past few weeks it would appear that with a teaser on his Instagram this evening that the investment announcement will come tomorrow.
‘Swindon Fans, I have some exciting news that will be dropping tomorrow’ he started.
‘Keep an eye on socials, big love.’
Welcome back Michael! (Who knows at only 30 years old he could come back as a player-investor, I’m sure he can still do a job at League Two)
