Swindonians in the SN25 2DQ area are in for a treat to kickstart their week as their postcode was revealed as one of today’s daily prize draw winners.
The lucky postcode area, which covers Gaveller Road, will see its residents, who play the Postcode Lottery, £1,000 richer today.
The Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 Postcode Trusts, with one-third of tickets donated to charity.
This win not only benefits the lucky residents but also supports various charities, as a portion of the ticket sales goes towards good causes.
Players pay £12 a month to enter the daily draw – with each one shelling out £1,000 to residents on 20 lucky UK streets.
There is also a weekly draw on a Thursday, which awards £10 each to players in 1,000 postcodes.
Since 2005, People’s Postcode Lottery players have raised more than £950million for various good causes.
