Swindon is set to host its second Pickleball Festival on 5th and 6th April 2025, taking place at the Delta Tennis Centre.
Following the resounding success of last year’s inaugural event, which attracted around 100 players across two days, this year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better, with 16 courts in play and an impressive 100 players participating daily.
The festival format offers something for everyone. Players will compete within their individual rating categories, ensuring fair and competitive matches. Additionally, there will be a couple of hours of open play each day, giving participants the unique opportunity to test themselves against players of varying abilities from clubs across the UK.
Shaun from Swindon Pickleball shared his excitement about the upcoming event: “We were thrilled with the turnout and enthusiasm at last year’s festival. It’s fantastic to see the sport growing so quickly in Swindon and beyond. This year, we’re aiming for an even greater festival atmosphere with 16 courts and a full schedule of play. It’s an incredible opportunity for players of all levels to connect, compete, and enjoy the game together.”
Spaces are limited, so early registration is highly recommended. The entry fee is £40 per person if registered before the end of January. After that, the price increases to £50, subject to availability.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting event. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, the Swindon Pickleball Festival offers a welcoming and vibrant environment to enjoy the sport and meet fellow enthusiasts.
