Swindon Pickleball Club has announced an opportunity for local creatives to make their mark on the club’s identity. In a bid to find the perfect emblem that encapsulates the local spirit, fun and sportsmanship, the club is hosting a logo design competition open to everyone in the Swindon community, regardless of age or expertise.
Pickleball, a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, has been making waves in Swindon with the relatively new sport renowned for its accessibility, making it suitable for players of all ages and skill levels. It’s a fantastic way to stay active, socialise, and enjoy friendly competition. Membership in this new club is growing on a weekly basis.
A club in its infancy, Swindon Pickleball currently plays its games at the Delta Tennis Centre and Padel4All at Bassett Down, and they are eager to involve the local community in shaping their visual identity. The aim is to discover a logo that will proudly represent the club for years to come.
Submissions are being accepted until the 30th of November, providing ample time for creative minds to craft their designs.
Once all entries are received, members of the Swindon Pickleball Club will have the task of shortlisting their favourite designs. The top three logos will then be showcased on the club’s Facebook page, where an online poll will determine the ultimate winner.
The club is on the lookout for a logo that embodies a sense of fun and is memorable. Incorporating the club’s name or abbreviation, “SPC,” is a must. Moreover, they welcome creative additions such as catchphrases, slogans, mascots, or any elements that tie in with the essence of Swindon itself.
